Looks like rumors have it that Windows 8 apps could find their way to Xbox One! This is really great news for app and game developers. In the article below it mentions that Xbox One will have a far closer relationship to Windows 8 and Windows Phone than its predecessor. Check out the article here:

Double Fine's Broken Age Delayed
It looks like Double Fine's 3.2 million dollar Kickstarter couldn't stay under budget. They originally asked for $400,000. It is interesting that they went over budget when considering the amount they originally asked for. As much as we dislike publishers there needs to be someone everyone once in a while that tells Tim Schafer that this project is too big. No one likes the nay-sayer, but that guy keeps a project in check. I don't care how cool Tim Schafer is, but this is unacceptable. You ask for $400,000 and you get $3.2 million. How dare you go over budget.

Congress lazy. Student loan rate doubles.
As I am still a student with student loans to pay back it hurts me to see that congress did nothing to prevent the doubling of student loan rates from 3.4 to 6.8. It scares me to think that not getting an education is looking sexier everyday. Why get an expensive education when you could probably learn a lot from google and tutorials anyway? It almost feels like the government is trying to get us to not go to school. Then maybe we would be eligible for government programs when we can't get jobs. Wait. There are many students coming out of college who can't get jobs either.

My recommendation: Don't go to college. Study from home using Google and Youtube. Become an entrepreneur! Make your own money.

Unity3D and Microsoft work together for Xbox-One!
OK folks it seemed like the Xbox One was in for a beating after PS4 had such a great E3 presence. However, Unity3D just announced that it will add support for Xbox One, Windows Store Apps, and Windows Phone 8! This is huge news! For anyone looking to develop for a console on the cheap look no further. All you need to have is a Unity Pro 4 license. This is about $1500 dollars, but that is dirt cheap compared to what you have to pay for a dev-kit for most consoles in the past. This will also include support for multiplayer matchmaking, SmartGlass, and Kinect.

Once you have that Unity Pro 4 license you will be able to export to Windows Store Apps, Windows 8 platforms, and Xbox One. Just imagine that you could create a game that could potentially export to at least 3 different devices. That is incredible.
Good luck developing and have a great day! :)
