Unity3D and Microsoft work together for Xbox-One!

OK folks it seemed like the Xbox One was in for a beating after PS4 had such a great E3 presence. However, Unity3D just announced that it will add support for Xbox One, Windows Store Apps, and Windows Phone 8! This is huge news! For anyone looking to develop for a console on the cheap look no further. All you need to have is a Unity Pro 4 license. This is about $1500 dollars, but that is dirt cheap compared to what you have to pay for a dev-kit for most consoles in the past. This will also include support for multiplayer matchmaking, SmartGlass, and Kinect.

Once you have that Unity Pro 4 license you will be able to export to Windows Store Apps, Windows 8 platforms, and Xbox One. Just imagine that you could create a game that could potentially export to at least 3 different devices. That is incredible.

Good luck developing and have a great day! :)
